By integrating honey comb panels from Tubus Bauer GmbH combined with multifunctional coatings on glass Kaphs has developed high performance insulating glass products KAPLUX. These high-performance glass units can be supplied using standard honey comb panels of 12mm, 14mm, 16mm or 20mm or of customized thickness. In addition to neutral honey comb panels, these panels can be solid colours or multi colours using multi-cells of various sizes (ranging from 3mm to 12mm).

KAPLUX HIGH PERFORMANCE HONEYCOMB PANELS

By integrating honeycomb panels from Tubus Bauer, Kaphs S.A. has developed insulating glass products Kaplux.
These high performance insulating glass units can be supplied using standard honeycomb panels of 12mm, 14mm,16mm, 20mm or of customized thickness. In addition to netural color honeycomb panels can be custom color and size ranging from 3mm to 12mm.
Through Kaplux insulating glass units’ direct light is redirected and transmitted into the building thus reducing glare substantially. Unlike light reduction from tinted and high reflective glass ypes Kaplux transmits between 55%-75% of day light depending on thickness and type of Tubus Bauer honeycomb panels.
Due to its high light transmission, artificial lighting during the day time is minimal thus reducing costs and improving overall comfort for occupants.
