Designed by the Scottish architectural firm RMJM, the DIFC Grand Mosque incorporates Haver & Boecker Architectural Wire Mesh to provide natural ventilation and sunlight to the metal mashrabiya façade. The outer cubist form uses a hanging mashrabiya screen that acts as a veil to provide shade and privacy to certain areas. The building form is a simple cube within a cube, reflecting the iconic Gate Building of DIFC, which uses LINIT U-Profile Glass.
